SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
Location: Dunbier Marine Head Office – 136-164 Boundary Road, Braeside VIC 3195
About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Dunbier Marine, a leading manufacturer of high-quality marine accessories based in Braeside, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of our products to our customers.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the daily purchasing requirements of the company, maintain the Bill of Materials systems, and directly supervise our Melbourne warehouse operations and teams to ensure company objectives and standards are met.
What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing the procurement, production, and distribution of our trailer accessories to meet customer demands
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize logistics
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions for materials and services
- Monitoring and analyzing supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
- Managing and mentoring a team of warehouse personnel
- Managing OOS and inventory levels across all sites
- Placing orders directly with local and international suppliers
- Maintaining and developing our Bill of Materials systems
- Managing stocktake processes and regular cycle counts
- Working with branch teams to maintain inventory control, including managing inventory transfers across all sites
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering cost savings
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools – SAP an advantage

Location: Dunbier Marine QLD Branch – 124 Lahrs Road, Ormeau, QLD
About us
Dunbier Marine is a well-established 50+ years business, well known in the QLD market with the Dunbier and Mackay boat trailer brands. All trailers are manufactured in Melbourne then shipped to our QLD branch in Ormeau, where they’re unloaded and distributed throughout the state. We also supply trailer accessories which are distributed through QLD & NT as well.
This Yard & Assembly role is for an immediate start, Mon-Fri, 38 hours GUARANTEED. It is not a fill-in job – we have plenty of work available and are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team. Training will be provided where necessary.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Building and assembling boat trailers
- Unloading containers and transport as required
- Fit-up boats to trailers
- General yard duties
Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanically minded, with hands-on experience with tools
- Fork-lift license preferred
- Current driver’s license
- Training provided where necessary

We also supply trailer accessories which are distributed throughout Western Australia as well.
