PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

About us
Dunbier Marine is a well-established 50+ years business, well known in the market with the Dunbier and Mackay boat trailer brands. All trailers are manufactured in Melbourne then shipped to our interstate branches, where they’re unloaded and distributed throughout Australia.

We are looking for a technically capable and initiative-taking Production Administrator to operate with our Production and Despatch teams. This role is the front line to our assembly and fabrication systems, as well as direct dealings with planning and despatching. It is for an immediate start and the working hours required are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:10pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for an analytical person with a keen eye for detail, looking for a long-term role in a stable and growing company.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • SAP production data entry, receipting, and despatching
  • Excel spreadsheet data entry
  • The application of assembly paperwork systems
  • Despatch and delivery documentation
  • RAV system uploads
  • Receival and departure coordinating
  • Some customer interaction required

Qualifications & Experience

  • ERP experience preferred (SAP or other)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel programs
  • Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:10pm
  • Must be self-driven and able to communicate well with fellow team members
  • Must be able to manage pressure and perform in a fast-moving environment
  • Must be eager to be a part of a wonderful team
  • Must show initiative and have drive to move forward

STOREPERSON

About Us

We are looking for a Storeperson for our busy manufacturing facility in Braeside, VIC – Mon-Fri, 38 hour week. The role involves playing your part in ensuring the store and warehouse runs efficiently and effectively. Although this role starts as casual, there is opportunity for long term for the right person – we are looking for someone reliable and with a can-do attitude.

What does the role involve?
The role involves warehouse duties, such as order picking and packing, utilising forklift skills (both Counterbalance and Reach) for tasks like emptying import containers and handling goods. The position requires coordination with various courier companies for freight bookings, both via phone and online portals.

Additionally, responsibilities include receiving stock, conducting quality control, manually wrapping and banding pallets, stocktaking, and maintaining product stock control. Basic knowledge of SAP or similar systems is desirable, along with basic computer skills including Outlook and Excel.

The role also involves assembling and packing finished products, as well as maintaining effective communication with internal and external customers regarding incoming and outgoing orders.

What are the skills and qualities you need?

  • Proficient in picking and packing
  • Mechanically minded, experience with assembly
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
  • Current forklift license is a must (experience in both Counterbalance and Reach an advantage)
  • Good people skills
  • Sound problem solving capability
  • You must be reliable and demonstrate a can-do attitude
